SQL

SQL is a relational Database language,
I prefer postgresql it is easily the all around best and most reliable DB server out there 

I prefer PgAdmin to work with said DB

Maria DB is also worth a mention 

• I edit and maintain these with HeidiSQL 

SQLite also exists but I have never used it directly 

• many of the apps I use, use this but I never have in any of my own
