I am familiar with many distributions of Linux, today my go to is Ubuntu, as I like things to just work.

My first Linux distro was Slackware, but I left that behind for Mandrake, which became Mandriva, then I went to Redhat, which became Fedora from there I went to Ubuntu in the days of Dapper Drake.
